Welcome to Garland PeeWee Football

Garland PeeWee Football is a non-profit community recreational Football, Cheer & Dance league. We have been servicing the residents of Garland, Sachse, Rowlett and surrounding cities in the DFW since 1955.

DIVISIONS

 

Divisions-Flag (K-2nd)

  • Non-contact Flag Football
  • REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: (Provided by player) Cleats, Mouthpiece and Gloves.
  • Game Length: An hour and 15 minutes
  • Pre-Season Practices: Maximum of three practices per week, During-Season practices, twice per week.

Divisions-3/4 and 5/6 Tackle

  • 11v11 Football
  • REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: Helmet, Shoulder Pads, Cleats, Mouthpiece and Gloves.
  • Game Length: An hour 30 minutes
  • Pre-Season Practices: Maximum of three practices per week, During-Season practices, twice per week.

Divisions-Cheerleading/Dance

  • Practices: Maximum of 2 practices per week.
  • Pre-Season Practices: Maximum of two (2) practices per WEEK
  • Season Practices: Maximum of one (1) practice per WEEK
  • Practices are not permitted on Game Day
  • Practice Locations are approved city parks
  • All cheerleaders are drafted onto Squads
  • Air Assault teams do not have cheerleaders

ELIGIBILITY

 

  • GPWF & GPWCD is open to girls and boys in grades K - 6th grade. 
  • Each participant must be a registered student in GISD. Out of district players will be aligned to the team closest to their home address.
  • The participant must provide a certified copy of their birth certificate.
  • The participant must be in grades K - 6th grade for Football, Cheer and Dance.
  • Students who are home schooled must present evidence to the Board from the State of Texas to confirm current grade level
